This is a 4 week class 1.5 hrs long.

Classes held on April 5,12,19,26.

Realistic self portraits with a fresh twist- In this class you will learn the “Grid Method” technique to transfer and enlarge a photo of yourself. Grid drawing helps to improve drawing and observation skills as well as teaches students how to apply math skills to create art. Grid drawing has long been used by artists of all skill levels. Even Leonardo da Vinci used this method to help achieve correct proportions. Students will work mostly with pencil to achieve a range of values in their work, but will also get the chance to use colored pencils and artistic license to get creative on a fun unexpected twist.
