I was born and raised in northern Wisconsin where I began noticing details and the beauty of nature around me. During high school, I studied under the instruction of master oil painter Alfred Weiss. I then went on to graduate with honors from the Western Wisconsin Technical College in LaCrosse, WI with an associate degree in Commercial Art. Soon after, I became an illustrator/designer in the Madison, WI area. Since then, I have transitioned to Watertown, WI where I currently reside with my husband and two daughters working as a middle school art teacher and create beautiful works of art for a wide range of clients.

Recently, I branched out and started teaching Set Apart Art painting events. I bring my studio to you and provide step by step fun instruction in paint a beautiful masterpiece that you can proudly hang in your home or give as a gift. No experience is required!
