Come in and learn how to make PAPER BEADS! In this three hour class students will learn how to make thier own beads from magazines, learn how to seal the beads to make them strong and then use them to create a one of a kind necklace.
By taking this class, students will also be making a positive impact on the lives of others. We will be learning about BEAD FOR LIFE, an organization that partners with paper bead makers in Uganda, Africa. Their mission: Creating sustainable opportunities for women to lift their families out of poverty by connecting people worldwide in a cirlce of exchange that enriches everyone.
We are taking $5 from every ticket sold to support this organization in the form of pure monetary donation as well as support through purchasing their handmade paper bead jewelry.
* The jewelry we buy will be raffled off to a lucky student in the class!
